Lunchtime Supervisor March 2025
The Headteacher and Governors of West Lane Primary School wish to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to work with children throughout the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and supervision of children whilst eating lunch and during lunchtime play.
You should:
* Have experience of working with children
* Have a sympathetic understanding of the personal and social needs of young children
* Be familiar with games and activities suitable for occupying primary age children
* Relate well to children, inspiring trust and respect
* Be able to work as a member of a team
Grade of Post: Grade B
Hours of Post: 8 hours and 20 minutes
Contract Weeks: Term Time Only (39 weeks)
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS Disclosure is required for the successful applicant. Closing date is 5pm Monday 3rd March, shortlisting Friday 7th March and interviews week beginning Monday 10th March. HLTA Feb 2025
West Lane Primary School
The Head Teacher and Governors of Winlaton West Lane Primary are seeking to appoint a dedicated, caring, suitably experienced HLTA to join our friendly and dynamic team as soon as possible. You will be required to carry out all duties as required within the HLTA job description working across the whole of school. This is a permanent position, 37 hours per week, term time only.
You should:
- Have relevant, up to date training, skills, knowledge and experience of children across EYFS, KS1 & KS2
- Be able to support all children individually to ensure they reach their full potential
- Understand what excellent teaching and learning looks like
- Be able to work within a cohesive and dedicated team, playing a positive role in supporting the education of our pupils
- Have a variety of communication skills
- Be patient and have a good sense of humour
- Be a positive role model and display a positive outlook
- Have high expectations for all children in your care with a commitment to raising standards
- Share our current vision of being ‘Ready, Respectful and Safe’
- Promote our values for leaning which include; inclusion, independence, confidence, resilience and aspirations
