School Business Manager

West Lane Primary School

  

Permanent Full Time - 37 hours per week Term Time Only + 15 Days. Grade I SCP 28- 31 £33,539.46 - £36,514.23 per annum.

 

Required as soon as possible, subject to all clearances being in place.

Winlaton West lane Primary School is a 2-form entry primary school set in the leafy west of Gateshead, Winlaton. With a large playing field and 4 buildings, including a nursery, our school provides a nurturing and engaging environment for our children.

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic professional to join our team as the School Business Manager. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to drive the school's vision and strategic direction, overseeing essential support services such as finance, HR, payroll, site management and health and safety.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic professional, who has had relevant experience of leading a team effectively and can prioritise with confidence the day to day pressures within a school environment.

The successful candidate must be a quick-thinking team member with strong leadership skills, self-motivation and excellent attention to detail

The successful candidate must have:
• A certificate or diploma in School Business management or equivalent
• GCSE/ O-level English and Maths at Grade C or above;
• Advance IT skills;
• Proven experience of financial and HR management in a business or school environment;
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills;

• Strong strategic vision and the ability to implement effective operational strategies;
• The ability to form strong relationships with staff, children, parents, carers and external stakeholders;
• Demonstrated the ability to constantly improve and develop through professional development and training.

Salary amounts quoted are from 1st September to 31st August, if you commence employment part way through the academic year they will be subject to an equated salary adjustment.
