As part of Science, Year Five ventured to the Great North Museum to take part in a workshop called ‘Mission to Mars’ where we explored precious metals, stones and even meteorites and investigated how we would have been able to survive on Mars.

After our workshop, we walked into Newcastle centre to see the Fenwicks window display and, finally, ended our day with a hot chocolate, topped with marshmallows, and a bag of candy floss.

Splendid!
